Turret in Junagarh fort, Bikaner. Bikaner is a town somewhat off the tourist track of Rajasthan, on the edge of the Thar desert about eighty miles from the Pakistani border. Turrets like these are a frequent distinguishing mark of Mughal architecture; Junagarh was built in the years 1588-1593 by a general of the great Mughal emperor Akbar. | Photographer | Joe Morris | Date | 2003-01-07 | Exposure | 0.005 s (1/200) | Aperture | f/2.8 | Focal Length | 4.5mm | Flash Used | No |
